Research as one of IDM‘s arm in its mission is symbiotic to training and consultancy. It can be a spinoff from consultancy or vice versa. In this regard, the focus of IDM‘s research is applied, to inform business activity, improve quality of teaching and learning.  It is also business driven in order to enhance positioning and portfolio of offering. The overarching goal is to make research commercial while improving the profile of emerging researchers. Strategically research in IDM is driven by national agenda which is operationalised in prioritised thematic areas for conferences led and individual research.
